Description
Been playing Chess Online & Offline for a couple months now. It’s basically a modern chess app with online multiplayer and offline practice against a computer. Pretty solid if you’re into strategy games and wanna get your chess fix.
Here’s what you do: you can play ranked matches against players from around the world to earn points. And there’s also a practice mode where you can play against the AI without worrying about your rating. And the app’s got some nice touches like calming classical music in the background.
Look, if you’re a chess fan, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Chess Online & Offline. I've tested a bunch of chess apps and this one's pretty solid. The gameplay has a good amount of depth without being overwhelming, and the graphics look great even on older phones. I also appreciate that it's free to play without forcing you to spend money. But it does get a bit repetitive after a while, and the upgrade system is a grind at higher levels. Still, if you're into chess, this is a pretty good option in my opinion.
