Description
Been using Chessable: Study Chess Smarter for a couple months now. It’s basically a science-backed app that helps you learn chess openings, tactics, and endgames. Pretty solid if you’re into chess improvement.
Here’s what you do: there’s this thing called MoveTrainer that uses spaced repetition to drill moves into your brain. And it’s pretty cool. And there are over 1,000 courses created by grandmasters – you can learn from the best players in the world. Took me a while to figure some of it out, but the app makes it pretty easy.
Look, if you’re a chess nerd like me, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of helping you crush your opponents on the board. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Chessable: Study Chess Smarter. I've tested a bunch of chess apps and this one's probably the most comprehensive I've seen. The spaced repetition system is legit - I've found I actually remember openings and tactics better after using it. The grandmaster courses are super helpful too. The only downsides are that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, and the free version has some limitations. But overall, if you're serious about improving your chess game, Chessable is probably your best bet.
