Description
I’ve been playing Click X for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic mahjong solitaire game, but with some cool new twists. You just match up identical tiles to clear the board, which is pretty relaxing but also challenging at times.
The gameplay is simple – there’s your standard mahjong tiles, and you tap or slide two that are free (not blocked by other tiles) to make them disappear. But then they’ve added special tiles that mix things up, like tiles that won’t disappear until you clear others around them. There’s hundreds of levels to go through, so it’s got some good variety.
Look, if you’re into relaxing puzzle games, you’ll probably dig Click X. It’s not perfect – the upgrades and stuff take forever at higher levels, and the ads can get a little annoying. But overall it’s a pretty solid mahjong game that’s great for killing time or keeping your brain sharp.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of different mahjong and tile-matching games, and Click X holds up pretty well. The classic mahjong gameplay is as satisfying as ever, but the special tiles and layout twists make it feel fresh. The visuals are clean and the controls are super intuitive, even on a phone. Definitely one of the better mahjong apps I've used. Not gonna lie though, the progression and monetization can get a little grindy after a while.
