So here's my take on Commander: World War 2. I've tested a bunch of WWII strategy games and this one's one of the better ones. The gameplay is addictive and the faction variety adds a nice strategic layer. I also like the option to play against other players in custom skirmishes. On the downside, it can get a bit repetitive after a while and the progression system feels grindy at higher levels. But if you're a fan of the genre, I'd say it's worth giving a try. It's free to play and you don't really need to spend money to have fun with it.

Description

Been playing Commander: World War 2 for a couple months now. It’s basically a turn-based strategy game where you lead Allied or Axis forces in epic WWII battles. You can choose from 3 different factions – USA, Germany, or Soviet Union. There’s a campaign mode with historical operations, plus skirmish battles where you can customize the map and take on up to 7 other players.

The core gameplay is pretty solid. You recruit infantry, tanks, planes, and naval units, then try to outmaneuver and crush your opponents. There’s a good amount of strategic depth, but it’s not so complex that it’ll overwhelm you. And you can unlock new units and upgrades as you progress, which keeps things interesting.

Look, if you’re into strategy games and WWII history, you’ll probably get a kick out of Commander. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels, and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a pretty fun and polished experience. Worth checking out, especially if you like games you can play with friends.
