Description
I’ve been playing Construction Simulator 2 for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you get to run your own construction company – you know, operate all kinds of heavy machinery, build roads, work on construction sites, that sort of thing. Looks pretty realistic too, the graphics are pretty solid.
There’s a ton of stuff you can do in this game. You can take on all kinds of contracts, from repairing roads to operating huge cranes to building houses. And there’s an open world to explore, so you can drive around and find new construction jobs all over the place. It’s got a decent variety of vehicles too – forklifts, excavators, dump trucks, the works.
Look, if you’re into sim games and you like operating heavy machinery, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a pretty solid construction sim that lets you live out your inner Bob the Builder fantasies.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Construction Simulator 2. I've tested a bunch of construction and simulation games, and this one's right up there with the best of them. The open world is great, it gives you a real sense of freedom to just cruise around and take on jobs as you please. The controls feel pretty intuitive too, even if it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of operating some of the larger vehicles. The graphics are also impressive - the machines look realistic and the environments are nicely detailed. The only real downsides are that the upgrade/progression system can get a bit grindy, and the ads can be intrusive if you don't pay. But overall, if you're a fan of the genre, I'd definitely recommend giving this a shot.
