So here's my take on Democratic Socialism Simulator. I've tested a bunch of political sim games and this one's pretty solid. The production values are great - the graphics are smooth and the characters (who are all anthropomorphic animals) are really well-designed. And there's a ton of depth and replayability, with all the different choices and scenarios. But it's not perfect. I found the pacing can be a bit slow at times, and some of the mechanics around managing your coalition and public opinion are a little obtuse. Still, overall it's a really compelling and unique experience that I'd recommend to anyone into political games.

Been playing this Democratic Socialism Simulator game for a couple months now. It’s basically a political strategy game where you get to be the first socialist president of the US. You gotta enact all sorts of radical reforms – taxing the rich, transforming the economy, tackling major issues. But watch out, the rich and powerful aren’t gonna give up their control easily. And even some of your allies might turn on you. There’s hundreds of choices based on real policy proposals, with randomly generated scenarios and multiple endings. You can play with different ideologies and strategies too. Looks like the developers put a ton of work into this.
