So here's my honest take on Dragons: Rise of Berk. I've tested a bunch of strategy games and this one's pretty solid. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. There's a ton of depth in terms of the different dragons you can collect and train. Clan battles are the real highlight though - it's super fun coordinating attacks with your friends. On the downside, the progression does start to feel grindy at higher levels, and the ads can get a little annoying if you don't pay. But overall, if you're a fan of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise or just like base-building strategy games, I'd say give this a try.

Description

Been playing Dragons: Rise of Berk for a couple months now. It’s basically a strategy game where you build up your village of Vikings and train a bunch of different dragons. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda stuff.

Here’s what you do: You can rescue and hatch new dragon species, then train them up. There’s also clan battles where you team up with friends to take on other clans. And you can upgrade your village and stuff – took me a while to figure out all the mechanics but it’s pretty deep once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into building up a village and battling other players, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
