So here's my take on Exolotl: Zian. I've tested a bunch of retro-style action games and this one's pretty solid. The pixel art and animation look great, and the platforming challenges are satisfying without being too frustrating. I like how you can switch between the different axolotl heroes - it adds a nice strategic element. The story and levels are fun, though it does get a bit repetitive after a while. Didn't need to spend any money to enjoy it, which is always a plus. Not gonna lie, the ads can be annoying, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, it's a well-made game that fans of the genre will probably dig.

Description

Been playing Exolotl: Zian for a couple months now. It’s basically a retro-style action adventure game where you play as Prince Zian and his team of brave axolotl companions. The story’s pretty cool – King Orion invades and kidnaps the Exolotl King, so you gotta travel across 12 levels and fight aliens, mutants, robots, and more to save the day.

Here’s what you do: switch between 5 unique axolotl heroes, each with their own skills and weapons. Gotta master their abilities to beat all the challenges. And there’s a cool extra mission where you rescue adorable baby axolotls hidden around the levels. Took me a while to find them all!

Look, if you’re into retro platformers with a twist, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a pretty solid game that does the job. Worth checking out for fans of the genre.
