I’ve been playing Flip Skater for a couple months now. It’s basically a skateboarding game where you build up your character and compete against other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do: You can choose different skateboards and customize your character. Then you hit the halfpipe and try to pull off crazy tricks like nose grabs and frontside airs. There’s also a bunch of different environments to skate in around the world – took me a while to unlock them all but it’s cool to see the variety.

Look, if you’re into skateboarding games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an addictive time-waster.

So here's my honest take on Flip Skater. I've tested a bunch of skateboarding games and this one's pretty solid. The gameplay is fun and there's a good amount of depth without being overwhelming. And i like the graphics and how smooth it runs even on my older phone. The free-to-play model is pretty fair too - you don't need to spend money to enjoy it. The main downside is that it can get repetitive after a while, but if you play in short bursts it's a good time-killer.
