So here's my honest take on Lifeline: Beside You in Time. I've tested a bunch of story-based adventure games and this one's pretty solid. The writing is engaging, the choices feel meaningful, and the whole time-travel twist with the evil twin is a cool hook. The strategic base-building stuff is a nice bonus too, even if it gets grindy later on. Not gonna lie, there are a few issues - the ads can be annoying if you don't pay, and the game does start to feel repetitive after a while. But if you're looking for an entertaining choose-your-own-adventure with some strategy elements, I'd say Lifeline is worth checking out.

Description

Been playing Lifeline: Beside You in Time for a couple months now. It’s basically a choose-your-own-adventure game where you help this astronaut named Taylor survive after getting sucked into a black hole. There’s a cool twist where you can also talk to Taylor’s evil alien-infected twin. Honestly, it’s pretty addicting.

Here’s what you do: you make decisions that affect the story – like whether to trust certain characters or take risky actions. There’s also a bunch of different endings depending on the choices you make. It’s got some strategy elements too, like managing resources and building up your base. Took me a while to figure out all the mechanics but they work well.

Look, if you’re into story-driven games with a sci-fi vibe, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an addictive time-waster.
