Been playing Pacific Fire for a couple months now. It’s basically a turn-based strategy game set in the Pacific during World War II. Pretty solid app if you’re into historical war games.

Here’s the deal: you get to command all kinds of units – planes, ships, tanks, infantry, the works. There’s over 180 different types of vehicles and vessels to control. You can fight massive battles across the whole Pacific theater, from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the final surrender of Japan. It’s got a ton of strategic depth without being too overwhelming.

Look, if you’re a history buff or just into deep strategy games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and it does get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a really polished game that’s free to play. Worth checking out for sure.

I've tested a bunch of WWII strategy games on my phone and Pacific Fire is definitely one of the better ones. The level of historical detail is impressive, from the accurately modeled aircraft and ships to the campaigns that cover the whole Pacific war. The strategic gameplay has a nice learning curve - it's complex enough to be engaging but not so complicated that it's a chore to figure out. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on my older device. My only real gripe is that the progression can get grindy at higher levels, but if you're committed it's not a dealbreaker.
