Here’s what you do: you play as Shaw, a regular guy who suddenly becomes the strongest sage with all these OP skills. And there’s also stuff like base building, turn-based battles, and even the ability to summon spirits to help you out. It’s got some depth to the gameplay but it’s not overly complicated.
