Description
I’ve been using PUM Companion RPG Storytelling for a couple months now. It’s basically a tabletop roleplaying game you can play all by yourself. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you create your own stories and worlds, using random prompts to spark your imagination. And there’s also a bunch of tools to help you out – you can roll dice, keep track of your characters and maps, and even continue your game on other devices. It’s got a really cool plot structure track to give you guidance as you’re building your story.
Look, if you’re into roleplaying and creative writing, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to tell your own stories in the comfort of your own home.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on PUM Companion RPG Storytelling. I've tested a bunch of storytelling and worldbuilding apps, and this one's pretty solid. The random prompts and plot structure tools are super helpful for sparking your creativity. And the ability to seamlessly continue your game across devices is a game-changer. But I will say the learning curve is a bit steeper than I'd like, and some of the features can feel a little clunky at times. Overall though, if you're into tabletop RPGs and want a fun way to craft your own stories, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.
