Description
I’ve been playing Thomas & Friends™: Let’s Roll for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you can drive your favorite train engines around and even build your own train tracks. Pretty solid app if you’re into kids’ games.
Here’s what you do: you can pick different engines like Thomas, Percy, or Bruno and take them on journeys around the Island of Sodor. There’s also a track builder feature – you can create your own train track and watch the trains chug along. It’s got some cool scenery options to make your track look nice. Took me a while to figure out how to use that part but it’s actually pretty fun.
Look, if you’ve got young kids who are into trains, they’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Thomas & Friends™: Let's Roll. I've tested a bunch of kids' train games and this one's actually pretty decent. The driving and track building are both pretty intuitive and fun. The graphics are nice and it runs smoothly even on my older phone. The only real downside is that the progression can get a bit grindy at higher levels, but you don't have to spend money to enjoy the core gameplay. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking for a fun train app for your preschooler.
