So here's my honest take on Plant App - Plant Identifier. I've tested a bunch of plant ID apps and this one's pretty good. The AI-powered identification is super accurate, better than most human experts. And the plant journal feature is really handy for keeping track of your greenery. But it's not all perfect - the info on each plant can be a bit limited, and the UI feels a little dated. Still, for a free app it's a solid choice if you want to learn more about the plants around you.

Description

Been using Plant App – Plant Identifier for a couple months now. It’s basically a plant identification app that uses AI to tell you what kind of plant you’ve got. Pretty solid app if you’re into gardening or nature stuff.

Here’s what you do: take a photo of a plant, and the app will identify it for you. There’s also a plant journal feature where you can track how your plants are growing. And there’s reminders to help you take care of your plants – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into plants and want an easy way to identify them, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the plant info can be a little basic at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

Get ready to pay $7.55, not $6.99/week. I don't know on what planet they're allowed to charge tax, but they do. I deleted the app 5 minutes after installing it,...

It does identify your plants and puts in a library. I like that. I am disappointed with alerts for care. They always say upcoming. But not when the next care...

I loved the app, but it is designed in a deceptive way to prevent cancellation before the trial period is over. The FAQ section also references only Apple/iTunes and has...
