Been using iNaturalist for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you identify the plants and animals around you. Pretty cool if you’re into nature and exploring the outdoors.
Here’s what you do: You take a photo of a bird, bug, flower, or whatever, and the app will try to identify it. There’s also a community of other users who can help out if the AI is stumped. And you can record your own observations and contribute to scientific research – which is a nice bonus.
Look, if you’re into learning more about the natural world, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ID suggestions can be off sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
