Been using Fahlo Animal Tracker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can support endangered species and track real animals on a map. Pretty cool idea if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you buy a product like a t-shirt or tote bag, and when you do, you get to ‘adopt’ an animal. There’s an interactive map where you can see where your animal is and get updates on its journey. It’s got some fun facts and info about the animal too. And the company donates a portion of each sale to conservation efforts, which is pretty awesome.
Look, if you care about wildlife and want to do your part, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does a good job of making you feel connected to the cause in a fun, engaging way.
