So here's my take on ThunderTix. I've tested a bunch of event ticketing and entry apps, and this one's pretty solid. The scanning works well, it's fast and reliable. I also like the mobile POS feature, comes in handy. Only downside is the learning curve if you haven't used ThunderTix before. But once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty useful little app.

Description

Been using ThunderTix for a couple months now. It’s basically a barcode scanner app you use at the entrance of your events. If you’re already selling tickets with ThunderTix, it works great for quickly scanning people in.

Here’s what you do: you just open the app, it’ll scan the barcode on the ticket, and it shows you the ticket buyer’s info. And there’s also a mobile point-of-sale feature if you need to sell tickets on the go. Took me a little bit to figure that part out, but it’s a nice extra.

Look, if you’re running events and selling tickets, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit confusing if you’re not familiar with ThunderTix – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a simple way to scan people in.
