So here's my honest take on Frankfurt Connect. I've tested a bunch of event apps and this one's pretty solid. The core features work well - I like how you can plan your schedule and navigate the fair. The networking tools are a nice bonus too. But it's not without its issues. The UI can feel a bit outdated and the performance isn't amazing on older phones. It gets the job done, but I've seen better executed apps in this category. Still, if you need a companion for the Frankfurter Buchmesse, this is probably your best bet.

Description

Been using Frankfurt Connect for a couple months now. It’s basically a digital platform and companion app for the Frankfurter Buchmesse, one of the world’s biggest book fairs. You can use it to plan your schedule, check out exhibitors and events, and even network with industry folks. At the fair itself, the app serves as a handy guide to navigate the exhibition grounds.

Here’s what you do: you can browse the exhibitor list, see author profiles, and build your personal fair diary. There’s also a neat map feature that shows you where everything is. And you can connect with other attendees – took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually pretty useful.

Look, if you’re into book fairs and publishing events, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re heading to the Frankfurter Buchmesse.
