I’ve been using the Scooter’s Coffee app for a couple months now. It’s basically a rewards program where you can earn points (called Smiles) for buying drinks and food from their coffee shops. The app is pretty straightforward – you can order ahead, pay with your phone, and track your Smiles. There’s also some cool bonus features like being able to send digital gift cards to friends and unlocking higher reward tiers.
The main thing you do is just scan the app when you buy stuff at Scooter’s. You get more Smiles per dollar that way compared to paying cash. And there are little challenges and games you can do to earn extra Smiles too. It’s a nice way to get free drinks and treats over time.
Look, if you’re a regular at Scooter’s, this app is worth downloading. It’s not gonna change your life or anything, but it’s a pretty solid rewards program. The only downsides are that the app can be a bit glitchy sometimes, and the higher reward tiers take a ton of Smiles to unlock. But overall, it does what it needs to do.
