So here's my take on Seed Oil Scout: Healthy Dining. I've tested a bunch of food apps and this one's pretty solid. The core functionality works well - it's easy to search for restaurants and see what kinds of ingredients they use. The scanning feature is a nice bonus too. Doesn't always have the most up-to-date info, but it's generally reliable. Definitely better than blindly ordering at restaurants. I'd recommend it if you're trying to eat cleaner when you go out.

Description

Been using Seed Oil Scout: Healthy Dining for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you find healthy dining options at restaurants. Pretty solid if you’re into that sorta thing.

Here’s what you do – you search for restaurants near you and it shows you what kind of oils and ingredients they use. There’s also a feature where you can scan menu items to see if they’ve got the healthy stuff you’re looking for. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s actually really useful.

Look, if you’re trying to eat better when you go out, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the restaurant info can be a bit out of date sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you wanna dine a little healthier.

Self serving. Not free. Didn't see that before now. Only a 7 day trial. Like our lives aren't too busy to go 3 wks before we get back to this....

Pricing is outrageous, the most I'd ever pay is $5-10/yr, not $25 and right now there is very low usership even in big citys (I base this on how few...

Same bad experience as others, few restaurants reviewed with all the reviews being user based (so not totally accurate 100% of the time). Also the pricing, I'd rather not pay...
