So here's my honest take on Sidekick by Sorted Food. I've tested a bunch of cooking and meal planning apps, and this one's pretty solid. And the recipes are creative and delicious, and the meal planning tools make grocery shopping and prepping a breeze. The only real downside is that some of the more advanced features are locked behind a paywall. But if you're just looking for an easy way to discover new dishes and make dinner less of a chore, Sidekick is definitely worth a try.

Description

Been playing Sidekick by Sorted Food for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you find new recipes, plan meals, and make cooking at home way easier. Pretty solid if you’re into cooking and trying new dishes.

There’s tons of recipes to choose from – over 4 million! You can browse by cuisine, dietary needs, or just see what’s popular. And the meal planning feature is super handy, it basically makes a grocery list for you. Took me a while to figure out all the different tools but once I got the hang of it, Sidekick made cooking a lot less stressful.

Look, if you’re always making the same old meals and want to spice things up, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to become a better home cook.
