So here's my take on Peak Strength. I've tested a bunch of fitness apps and this one's pretty solid. The customization is great - I like how you can dial in the workouts to your specific sport and goals. And the workout programs are legit too, I've seen some real improvements in my speed and strength. Only downside is the app can be a bit overwhelming at first with all the different features. But once you get the hang of it, it's a really powerful tool for athletes.

Pros

  • Tons of custom workout programs for different sports and goals
  • Adjusts workouts based on the equipment you have access to
  • Workouts are challenging but don't require a crazy fitness level
  • Free to use, no need to pay for the good stuff

Cons

  • Can be confusing to navigate all the different features at first
  • Workouts sometimes get repetitive after doing them for a while
  • Would be nice to have more social/community features

Description

Been using Peak Strength for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps athletes reach their fitness goals with tons of custom workout programs. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do – you pick your sport, your position, and what you want to focus on (like speed, strength, etc). Then it gives you workouts tailored to your needs. There’s also a ton of different exercises and it’ll adjust the workouts based on the equipment you have. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s pretty useful.

Look, if you’re an athlete trying to take your game to the next level, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can get a little cluttered sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

After finishing the initial questionnaire I tried to hit build program and the app got stuck and wouldn't progress. It's also very hard to tell when the app is loading....

After consuming a lot of your great content online I decided to download your app, unfortunately I injured my right knee the week before and I couldn't do a lot...

Edit x5: Programming/workouts amazing, and since the update performance is now the bare minimum you'd expect at this price. Still can't switch weeks. Also can't retrospectively edit sets if you...
