So here's my take on PolyRooms. I've tried a bunch of home design and interior apps, and this one's pretty solid. The 3D modeling and AR features work really well, and I like how intuitive the hand controls are. And it's not as full-featured as some pro-level design software, but for the average person it hits the sweet spot. The only real downsides are the limited catalog and occasional bugs, but the dev seems to be updating it regularly. Overall, if you want an easy way to visualize home changes, PolyRooms is worth a download.

Pros

  • Tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming
  • Graphics look great and run smooth on older phones
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy it
  • Intuitive hand controls make redesigning a breeze
  • Huge furniture catalog to customize your dream home

Cons

  • Catalog could use more variety of furniture and decor
  • Can get a little glitchy and buggy at times
  • Might be overkill for people who just want basic visualization

Description

I’ve been using PolyRooms for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you design your dream home in 3D. Pretty cool if you’re into interior design and stuff.

The way it works is you can virtually place furniture, move things around, and get a real sense of how it’ll look in your actual space. And there’s also a huge catalog of furniture and decor to choose from. It’s got some neat hand tracking features too – you can just point and place things with your hands, no controllers needed.

Look, if you’re into home design and want to see what changes would look like before you spend a ton of money, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the catalog could have more options and it can get a little glitchy sometimes – but overall it does the job pretty well. Worth checking out if that’s your thing.
