So I've been testing out Ancestry: Family History & DNA for a while now, and in my experience it's a pretty solid app for digging into your family history. I've tried a few different genealogy apps and this one stands out for its depth of records and features. The ability to upload photos, add stories, and see your ethnicity breakdown is really cool. That said, the interface can be a bit unintuitive at times and some of the search tools could use some improvement. But overall, if you're interested in learning more about your family tree, I'd recommend giving Ancestry a try.

Description

Been using the Ancestry: Family History & DNA app for a while now. It’s basically a way to explore your family tree and learn more about your roots. You can view your family tree, search for new relatives, and even see your ethnicity breakdown if you’ve taken an AncestryDNA test.

There’s a ton of stuff you can do – you can upload old family photos, add stories about your ancestors, and even find historical records. And the app makes it pretty easy to dig into your family history. The Discover feed is cool too, it surfaces hints and suggestions to help you find new information.

Look, if you’re into learning about your family background, you’ll probably get a lot out of this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times and some of the search features could be better. But overall it’s a solid way to explore your ancestry and discover your roots. Worth checking out if that’s your kind of thing.

easy to navigate for the most part, needs to be more simplified. The family tree tool is very confusing when it doesn't display the whole thing. Maybe a tutorial on...

Great app, but I have a few complaints. When I click on another line in my family, it tends to overlap with the line I was looking at before instead...

Horrible! They have so many technical problems/system not working problems it is ridiculous. Definetly not worth the monthly subscription fee I will start having to pay if I can't figure...
