So here's my take on the TP-Link Tapo app. I've used a bunch of home automation apps and this one's pretty solid. The setup is super easy and the app itself is pretty intuitive. I like that you can control everything from your phone, even when you're not home. In my experience, the scheduling and voice controls work well most of the time. The only issues I've found are that the scheduling can be a bit buggy, and the interface can feel a little basic compared to some other smart home apps. But overall, it's a really useful tool if you've invested in Tapo devices.

Description

I’ve been using the TP-Link Tapo app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you set up and control your Tapo smart home devices. Pretty solid if you’re into home automation and stuff like that.

Here’s what you can do with it: there’s an easy setup wizard to get your Tapo bulbs, plugs, or cameras connected. Then you can control them remotely – turn them on/off, set schedules, even use voice commands with Alexa or Google. It’s got a preset ‘Away’ mode too, which is kinda cool if you want to make it seem like someone’s home.

Look, if you’re into smart home tech, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the scheduling can be a bit glitchy sometimes – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you’ve got any Tapo devices.

Very good app. the only drawback (doorbell specific) is that you cannot turn off notifications from activity, but also keep alerts on when someone clicks the doorbell. I have one...
