So here's my take on AARP Now. I've tried a bunch of similar membership apps and this one's one of the better ones. The personalization is really nice - it actually feels tailored to my interests and location, not just a generic feed. And the ability to access your card and account info right in the app is super convenient. The only downside is it can get a bit overwhelming with all the different sections and features. But if you spend a little time setting it up, it becomes a pretty handy app to have as an AARP member.

Pros

  • Tons of personalized content like news, events, and discounts
  • Seamless access to your digital membership card and account
  • Sleek, magazine-like interface is easy on the eyes
  • Doesn't feel like a generic membership app

Cons

  • Can be a bit cluttered with all the different sections
  • Takes some time to customize and set up the personalization
  • Occasional bugs and crashes (though they get fixed quickly)

Description

Been using AARP Now for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that connects AARP members to personalized news, alerts, events and savings. Pretty solid if you’re an AARP member and wanna stay up to date.

Here’s what you can do – there’s a personalized feed with the latest AARP news and stories. You can also access your digital membership card, inbox, and account details all in one place. And the app curates events and discounts that might interest you based on your location and interests. It’s got a pretty nice interface, kinda feels like reading a magazine on your phone.

Look, if you’re an AARP member, you’ll probably find this app useful. It’s not perfect – the app can feel a bit cluttered at times – but overall it does a good job of keeping you connected to your AARP benefits. Worth checking out if you want to make the most of your membership.
