So here's my honest take on Tile: Making Things Findable. I've tested a bunch of these 'find your stuff' apps and this one's pretty good. The setup is simple, the features work well, and it's generally reliable at locating lost items. But it does have its issues - the subscription model can get old if you just want basic tracking, and the network aspect feels a bit gimmicky. Still, for frequent losers like me, it's a lifesaver. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Pros

  • Tons of features to help find lost items
  • Attaching the Tiles is easy and they're pretty discreet
  • Free version is solid, don't need to pay to get good use out of it
  • Works with Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free finding

Cons

  • The premium subscription gets pricey if you need advanced features
  • Relying on the Tile network to find stuff far away is kinda hit or miss
  • The app can be a bit buggy at times

Description

Been using Tile: Making Things Findable for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you keep track of your stuff – you can use it to find lost keys, wallets, and other important things. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you attach these little Tile tracking devices to your stuff, and then you can use the app to find them if they go missing. And there’s also a feature where you can make your phone ring if you’ve lost it, which is pretty cool. And you can even use the Tile network to help locate things that are far away from your Bluetooth range – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re always losing your stuff, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the monthly subscription can get annoying if you don’t want to pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
