I've tested a bunch of recovery and wellness apps, and NewForm is one of the better ones I've seen. The focus on community-driven events and meetups is great, and it's awesome that everything is free. And in my experience, the virtual support groups are really well-moderated and welcoming. The only downsides are some occasional technical issues and the fact that it can take time to find groups/events that are a perfect fit. But overall, NewForm makes it easy to explore recovery in a judgment-free space, and I'd recommend giving it a shot.

Description

Been using NewForm: Recovery & Wellbeing for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you connect with a sober community and explore recovery in your own way. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do – there’s virtual support groups, in-person meetups, creative workshops, and all sorts of other free sober experiences. It’s got a really supportive vibe and it’s easy to find stuff that fits your interests. Took me a while to figure out all the different features, but they’re pretty useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re in recovery or just sober-curious, you’ll probably get a lot out of NewForm. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job of bringing people together. Worth checking out if you ask me.

I love this app knowing I can find my different events no matter where I am is awesome. Having support in doing better is like a Phoenix rising ✨️ 🙌...

The phoenix app was so much easier to use. I tried to search an event and it won't load the correct events. Just very complicated and annoying. please revamp
