So here's my take on Verizon Family. I've tested a bunch of parental control and family safety apps, and this one's pretty solid. It's got a ton of useful features without being too complicated. The location sharing and alerts are great, and I like how it integrates with Verizon accounts. The only real downside is the ads, but that's pretty common for free apps these days. Overall, I'd say it's a reliable option if you want more visibility and control over your family's digital life.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features like content filtering, screen time limits, and location tracking
  • Integrates well with Verizon accounts and services
  • Free to use, don't need to pay for the basic stuff
  • Runs smoothly and doesn't drain your battery

Cons

  • Can be a bit overwhelming at first with all the settings
  • Ads can get annoying if you don't upgrade to the paid version
  • Location features are limited compared to standalone tracking apps

Description

Been using Verizon Family for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps keep your family safe and connected on the go. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you can do – you can use content filtering, monitor and limit Verizon call/text activity, manage screen time, and even get location alerts. There’s also some cool features like Safe Walk and Crash Detection. Took me a while to figure some of it out but it’s all pretty useful.

Look, if you’re a parent who wants more control over your kids’ devices, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s what you’re looking for.
