So here's my honest take on Merge Labs NRW2. I've tested a bunch of watch face apps and this one's one of the better ones I've seen. The custom font and synth wave style look really sharp, and the features like weather and battery are super handy. It's not gonna blow you away, but it's a solid option if you want something a little different for your smartwatch. Might take some tinkering to get it set up just right, but once you do it's a pretty good daily driver.

Description

Been using Merge Labs NRW2 for a couple months now. It’s basically a retro-styled smart watch face for your Wear OS device. Pretty solid app if you’re into that whole synth wave/80s vibe.

Here’s what you do: you can customize the watch face with all sorts of cool features like weather, step tracking, and battery level. And there’s also a couple small boxes you can use for stuff like calendar or music controls. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s pretty useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into personalized watch faces and that retro aesthetic, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the weather sometimes takes a while to update and the step tracking can be a bit off – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
