So here's my honest take on Siddur Chabad – Linear Edition. I've tested a bunch of prayer apps and this one's pretty solid. The layout is really clean and intuitive, and having all the extra features like the tefillin mirror and halachic times is super helpful. Doesn't feel like it's just trying to cram in a ton of random stuff. On the downside, the ads can get a little intrusive if you don't pay, and some of the advanced features took me a bit to figure out. But overall, it's a great option if you're looking for a comprehensive Siddur app.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features beyond just the siddur prayers
  • Clean, linear layout is easy to navigate
  • Free to download, don't have to spend money to get the full experience
  • Runs smoothly even on older devices
  • Helpful for keeping track of Jewish rituals and prayer times

Cons

  • Ads can be annoying if you don't pay for the premium version
  • Some of the advanced features aren't super intuitive at first
  • Might be overkill if you just need a basic siddur app

Description

Been using Siddur Chabad – Linear Edition for a couple months now. It’s basically a smart Siddur app with a bunch of cool features. Pretty solid if you’re into Jewish prayer and rituals.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a linear layout of the siddur prayers, which is super handy. It’s got a tefillin mirror, compass, and even halachic times to keep you on track. Took me a while to figure out some of the features but they’re all pretty useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you’re into Jewish prayer apps, you’ll probably like this one. It’s not perfect – the ads can get kind of annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an all-in-one Siddur app.
