So here's my take on the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App. I've used a bunch of transit apps and this one stacks up pretty well. The core features like mobile ticketing, real-time arrivals, and service alerts work really smoothly. It's not as slick as some other apps I've tried, but it gets the job done. The trip planning is also super handy, even if it takes a minute to figure out at first. The only real downsides are the occasional crashes and the somewhat cluttered interface. But overall, if you're a regular NJ TRANSIT rider, this app is worth having on your phone.

Description

I’ve been using the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that makes getting around New Jersey way easier. You can buy tickets, get real-time transit info, and even get push alerts for service updates. Took me a bit to figure out all the features, but it’s pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.

The main things you can do are buy mobile tickets through the MyTix section, check bus and train arrival times, and plan trips using the trip planner. There’s also those transit alerts which are super useful – you can get push notifications about delays or service changes. Definitely helps me avoid getting stuck at the station.

Look, if you take NJ TRANSIT a lot, this app is a no-brainer. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times and the app crashes occasionally – but overall it does the job really well. Personally, I’d recommend giving it a try.
