Been using Trucker Guide: Truck GPS Maps for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS app built specifically for commercial truck drivers. Pretty solid if you’re always on the road hauling freight.
Here’s what you do: you can plan your routes, find truck-friendly stops like gas stations and rest areas, and get real-time traffic updates. There’s also a bunch of POIs (over 450,000!) like weigh stations and low bridge warnings – super helpful to avoid getting stuck. And the weather alerts are useful too, lets you know if there’s a storm coming up ahead.
Look, if you’re a professional truck driver, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job and makes my trips a lot smoother. Worth checking out.
