So here's my take on the FourKites CarrierLink App. I've tried out a bunch of logistics and transportation apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The automatic location sharing and broker communication features are really convenient, and I like the turn-by-turn nav with fuel costs. The interface could be a little more polished, but it gets the job done. Not as slick as some other apps I've used, but it's free and works well for what it's meant to do. I'd recommend it to any truck drivers or logistics folks looking to streamline their workflows.

Pros

  • Automatic location sharing so shippers always know where load is
  • Lets you upload documents and chat with brokers about truck availability
  • Turn-by-turn navigation with fuel cost details across route options
  • Free to use, don't have to pay anything

Cons

  • Interface can be a little clunky and confusing at times
  • Some features take a while to figure out how to use
  • Might be overkill if you don't need all the logistics features

Description

Been using the FourKites CarrierLink App for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile app that lets truck drivers communicate with freight brokers and shippers without having to make all those annoying check-in calls. Pretty solid app if you’re into logistics and transportation stuff.

Here’s what you can do – you can send automatic location updates so the shipper always knows where your load is. There’s also a way to upload documents and chat with brokers about truck availability. And the turn-by-turn navigation with fuel costs is kinda handy too. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s all pretty useful.

Look, if you’re a truck driver or work in freight, you’ll probably find this app really helpful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you wanna make your driving life a little easier.

By far the worst tracking app, always running in background draining battery even after delivery is complete, probably mining data. And now doesn't receive the verification code to my note...
