Been using TroutRoutes: Trout Fishing App for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS mapping tool for trout anglers and fly fishing. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: you can explore interactive maps of over 50,000 trout streams, get GPS directions, and save your own custom maps for offline use. There’s also real-time river condition data from stream gages, which is pretty cool. And you can plan out your fly fishing trips with the advanced filters – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into fishing and exploring new waters, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re a serious trout angler.
