Been playing Private Maps by MapQuest for a couple months now. It’s basically a privacy-focused navigation app – no tracking, no ads, and your data stays private. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.
There’s all the usual nav features you’d expect – turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic updates, and so on. But the big selling point is the anonymous mode. And you can just navigate without leaving a trace, no history or cookies to worry about. Comes in handy if you don’t want companies following your every move.
Look, if you’re tired of other apps selling your data, this is definitely worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the maps could be a bit more detailed in some areas – but overall it does the job and keeps your info safe. I’d recommend it.
