So here's my honest take on Kardia. I've tested a bunch of health tracking apps and this one's pretty solid. The ability to quickly record an EKG on the go and get instant analysis is super handy. And the features to share data with your doctor and track your history are great. But it's not flawless - I've found the app can be a little glitchy at times. And the learning curve is a bit steeper than I'd like. Overall though, if you need to monitor your heart health, this is one of the better options out there.

Description

Been using Kardia for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that works with these FDA-cleared heart monitor devices to help you track your heart health. Pretty solid if you’re into medical/health tech stuff.

Here’s what you can do – you can use the Kardia device to record an EKG in just 30 seconds, no wires or anything. The app will give you an instant analysis to tell you if it’s normal, AFib, or other issues. You can also share the recording with your doctor if needed. There’s also features to track your history and symptoms over time, which is pretty cool. Took me a while to figure some of that out, but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into monitoring your heart health, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little buggy sometimes – but overall it does a good job. Worth checking out if you have one of those Kardia devices.

The user interface is awful. Most functions are oriented to the annual premium subscription service. Having purchased the device, there should be at least one free report for EKGs. In...
