So here's my honest take on Language Therapy: Aphasia. I've tested a bunch of speech and language apps, and this one's pretty solid. The exercises are well-designed by experts and I've found they really do help improve skills. The variety of activities keeps it interesting, and the progress tracking is a nice motivator. On the downside, the free version has some annoying ads, and the content can get a little repetitive after using it for a while. But overall, if you or a loved one is dealing with aphasia, this is a great tool to have in your arsenal.

Description

Been using Language Therapy: Aphasia for a couple months now. It’s basically a speech therapy app that helps with reading, writing, speaking, and listening for folks dealing with aphasia after a stroke. Pretty solid app if you or someone you know is struggling with language.

Here’s what you do: there’s a bunch of different exercises and games to practice those 4 key language skills. It’s got a nice variety so it doesn’t get too repetitive. And the app tracks your progress, which is pretty cool – took me a while to figure that part out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re dealing with aphasia, you’ll probably really like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
