So here's my take on Bandcamp. I've tried a bunch of music discovery and streaming apps, and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The selection is huge, with tons of underground and indie artists you won't find on the major platforms. And I love that you can directly support the musicians by buying their stuff through the app. The offline mode is also super convenient for listening on the go. On the downside, the app can be a little buggy at times and the recommendations aren't always perfect. But overall, it's a great way to find new music you won't hear anywhere else.

Description

Been using Bandcamp for a couple months now. It’s basically an online music store where you can discover new artists and directly support the ones you love. Pretty cool if you’re into discovering underground/indie music.

Here’s what you do: you can browse through their huge catalog of albums and songs, and when you find something you like, you can buy the music or merch directly from the artist. There’s also a neat offline mode – you can download the stuff you buy and listen to it anywhere. And the recommendations are actually pretty good, they do a nice job of showing you similar artists you might dig.

Look, if you’re into finding new music and supporting independent artists, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit clunky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re tired of the same old stuff on Spotify.

This is a review of the app - Bandcamp as a music distribution service gets 5 stars. The app lacks dark mode, gapless playback, and a cart system where you...

Absolutely horrible that you can not delete anything from your library. Sometimes, artists have bundle sales, but that includes a lot of filler material that is lackluster that you wish...
