So here's my take on BubbleUPnP UPnP/DLNA License. I've tested a bunch of media server/DLNA apps and this one's probably the most full-featured one I've used. It's not the prettiest app out there, but it's crazy powerful under the hood. And in my experience, it's had no issues connecting to all my different devices and streaming everything from 4K videos to high-res audio. The only downside is the interface takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out it's pretty intuitive. Overall, if you need a robust way to beam your media around the house, this is one of the best options out there.

Description

Been using BubbleUPnP UPnP/DLNA License for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you stream your music, videos, and photos to all kinds of devices around your house – like Chromecast, smart TVs, game consoles, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: There’s a ton of features like automatic media library detection, support for most audio/video formats, and the ability to control playback from your phone. It’s got some advanced stuff too like DLNA server and client functionality. Took me a while to figure out all the settings but it’s worth it.

Look, if you’re big into streaming media around your home, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job really well. Worth checking out, especially if you don’t want to deal with the ads in the free version.
