So here's my honest take on Lyric Pad 3. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's pretty good. And the file management and organization tools work well, and the automated scrolling is a game-changer for live performances. But the UI feels a bit outdated and there's a bit of a learning curve to get everything set up. Not as polished as some other options out there, but still a solid choice for gigging musicians.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features for organizing and displaying song lyrics
  • Automated scrolling is a huge time-saver during live shows
  • Free to use with no limits on songs or setlists
  • Supports importing from older Lyric Pad versions

Cons

  • User interface is a bit dated and clunky at times
  • Takes some time to figure out all the advanced features
  • Occasional bugs and crashes, not the most stable app

Description

Been using Lyric Pad 3 for a couple months now. It’s basically a song sheet organizer app made for gigging musicians. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do – you can import your song lyrics, organize them by title, artist, genre, or category. There’s also an editor where you can tweak the lyrics and stuff. Pretty cool. And there’s automated scrolling with some advanced scripting options – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re a musician who plays live shows, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

This app is top notch for all musicians. The learning curve was a bit tough for this layman but the help I recieved to get me going was second to...

UI is very dated and not user friendly. Had numerous issues adding songs. This app is not easy to work with or use.

The best lyric/setlist app for Android tablets. Many options to customize how it looks and works. Been using LP3 since it came out of Beta.
