So here's my take on Police Scanner - Live Radio. I've tested a bunch of news and emergency apps and this one's pretty solid. The live audio feeds are the main draw - you get a ton of different channels to choose from and the sound quality is decent. And i also like the wildfire and weather alerts, that's a nice extra feature. On the downside, the free version has a lot of ads that can get intrusive. And the interface takes some getting used to, not the most intuitive. But overall, if you're looking for a one-stop shop for local emergency broadcasts, this is a good option.

Been using Police Scanner – Live Radio for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you listen to live police, fire, and emergency radio streams. Pretty solid if you’re into keeping up with local news and crime.

Here’s what you can do – you can tune into live scanners from all over the country and hear what’s happening in real-time. There’s also a bunch of other feeds like wildfire alerts, weather, and even amateur radio. It’s got a pretty clean interface that’s easy to navigate. Took me a while to figure out how to save my favorite stations though.

Look, if you’re into staying on top of local news and emergencies, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get pretty annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a good job of keeping you informed. Worth checking out if that’s your thing.

Can only use via paid subscription, no free with ads option. And all the local emergency response units are "offline". It just continously counts down from 30 seconds to "reconnect",...

Great app, easy to use, lightweight, organized, and works well when running it in the background. Only bad thing are the annoying ads. I understand it's a source of revenue...

They really push you to subscribe. I could buy a scanner from Amazon and program the frequency in and listen for free. They want $39 a yr to listen to...
