So here's my take on FlashGet Kids. I've tried a bunch of parental control apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The location tracking and screen mirroring are super helpful for keeping tabs on your kids. And the live camera is a nice touch too. On the downside, the app can be a little confusing to navigate at first and some of the features feel a bit gimmicky. But if you're serious about monitoring your child's device usage, this is one of the better options I've come across.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features like location tracking, app blocking, and screen mirroring
  • Live camera and one-way audio lets you check in on your kids remotely
  • Free to use with optional paid features
  • Works well on both Android and iOS
  • Detailed reports on app usage and screen time

Cons

  • Can be tricky to figure out all the different features at first
  • Occasional bugs and crashes, especially on older devices
  • Some of the AI-powered features like content detection are hit or miss
  • Feels a bit intrusive if your kids value their privacy

Description

Been using FlashGet Kids:parental control for a couple months now. It’s basically a parental control app that helps you keep an eye on your kids’ device usage and location. Pretty solid if you’re worried about what your little ones are up to on their phones.

There’s a bunch of cool features – you can see what apps they’re using, block certain apps, and even mirror their screen so you can see what they’re actually doing. There’s also a live camera and one-way audio so you can check in on them remotely. Took me a bit to figure all that out but it’s really useful.

Look, if you’re a concerned parent who wants more control over your kids’ digital habits, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to keep your kids safe online.
