So here's my take on T-Mobile® FamilyMode™. I've tested a bunch of parental control apps and this one's pretty solid. The location tracking and screen time features work well, and I like how you can reward good behavior with more screen time. The design is clean and easy to use too. The only downside is the ads can get old after a while, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, it's a great way to keep your family safe and healthy online.

  • gives you peace of mind knowing you can keep an eye on your kids
  • Handy features like lost phone finder and SOS alert

Cons

  • Ads can get annoying in the free version

Description

I’ve been using T-Mobile® FamilyMode™ for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one parenting app that helps you keep an eye on your kids’ online activity and location. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: you can set time limits for your kids’ screen time, pause the internet when it’s time for dinner, or even give them extra screen time as a reward. There’s also a feature where you can find a lost phone by ringing it, and you can send an SOS alert if you ever need help. Took me a while to figure some of that out, but it’s all pretty useful.

Look, if you’re a parent trying to manage your family’s digital habits, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be kinda annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
