So here's my take on Norton Family Parental Control. I've tested a bunch of parental control apps and this one's pretty solid. The web filtering and time limits are really helpful for making sure your kids are staying safe and balanced online. The location tracking is a nice bonus too. But it's not without its issues - the web filtering can be a bit hit or miss, and the overall user experience could be more polished. Still, if you want a comprehensive set of parental controls, this is one of the better options out there.

  • Free version has most of the important stuff
  • Works well across different device types

Cons

  • Web filtering isn't perfect, can still let some bad stuff through
  • Interface feels a bit clunky and outdated

Description

Been using Norton Family Parental Control for a couple months now. It’s basically a parental control app that helps monitor and manage your kids’ online activity. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a web filter that blocks inappropriate content, plus you can set time limits on your kids’ device usage. It’s got some other useful features too, like location tracking and app blocking. Took me a while to figure some of it out, but it works pretty well overall.

Look, if you’re a parent who wants more control over what your kids are doing online, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the web filtering could be a bit more accurate at times – but it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s what you’re looking for.
