So here's my take on Policía de niños - para padres. I've tried a bunch of parenting apps and this one's pretty unique. The fake police call gimmick is actually kind of brilliant - it gets the kids' attention and makes them think they're in real trouble. The different scenarios cover a lot of common discipline issues too. Personally, I found the acting and advice a bit cheesy, but that's just my opinion. If you're looking for a clever way to discipline your kids, this app is worth a shot. Just don't expect miracles - at the end of the day, you still have to do the actual parenting work.

Description

Been using Policía de niños – para padres for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps parents discipline their kids through fake phone calls to the ‘police’. The idea is you call this number and it automatically connects you to a special ‘kid police’ department that can then ‘arrest’ your kid for misbehaving.

There’s a bunch of different call scenarios – like being noisy, not eating, not sleeping, fighting, and even too much phone/tablet time. It’s a pretty clever concept and the calls are actually pretty well done. After the ‘arrest’, the app gives you some advice on how to handle the situation with your kid.

Look, if you’re a parent with some tough little troublemakers, you’ll probably find this app helpful. It’s not perfect – the acting can be a bit cringy at times and the advice isn’t always the most practical. But overall it does the job of giving you a fun way to discipline the kiddos. Worth checking out if you need some new tricks up your sleeve.
