I've tested a bunch of screen rotation apps and this one is definitely one of the better ones. The features are really robust without being overly complicated. You get a ton of customization options but it's still pretty easy to use. The ability to set per-app rotation is my favorite part - I hate when I'm watching videos in portrait mode because the app is locked. With Rotation Control Pro, I can just flip it to landscape with one tap. The only real downside is that the UI could be a bit more intuitive, but you get used to it. Overall, it's a must-have tool if you're picky about how your screen orientation behaves.

Description

I’ve been using Rotation Control Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you force a particular screen rotation on any app, even if the app has a fixed orientation. Pretty solid if you’re into customizing your phone or tablet.

Here’s what you can do: there’s an option to set the default rotation for your whole device, so you can keep it in landscape mode for example. You can also configure different rotation settings for specific apps, which is super useful. And you can control the rotation straight from the notification bar with a single tap – no need to dig through settings.

Look, if you’re the type of person who likes to have full control over your screen orientation, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit confusing at first and there are occasional bugs. But overall it does the job and it’s free, so it’s worth checking out.
