So here's my take on Passport Photo - PhotoAiD. I've tried a bunch of these photo apps and this one's pretty solid. And the automatic cropping and editing work surprisingly well - I've had good results that meet the official requirements. It's not the most feature-packed app out there, but it gets the job done quickly and easily. Only real downside is the editing tools can be a bit clunky, but you get the hang of it after a few tries.

  • Decent editing tools to tweak the background and lighting

Cons

  • Editing tools can be a bit finicky at first
  • Doesn't have a ton of advanced features
  • Ads can be annoying if you don't pay for the pro version

Description

Been using Passport Photo – PhotoAiD for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you take a selfie and turns it into a professional-looking passport photo. Pretty solid if you travel a lot or need ID photos.

Here’s what you do: just take a photo of yourself, the app analyzes it and crops it to the right size. And there’s also an option to adjust the background and lighting – takes a bit of playing around but it works well. And you can save the photo straight to your phone, no need to go to a photo studio.

Look, if you’re always needing passport or visa photos, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the editing tools can be a bit finicky – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re tired of dealing with photo booths and long lines.
