Been using WICShopper for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you figure out what WIC-approved foods you can buy at the grocery store. Basically, you just scan items and it tells you if they’re on the WIC list for your state. Pretty solid if you’re a WIC recipient and want to make sure you’re getting the right stuff.
There’s a bunch of features that make shopping with WIC a lot easier. You can search for approved products, get a list of what’s in your WIC benefit, and even find stores near you that accept WIC. It’s got a barcode scanner too, so you can quickly check if an item is covered. Took me a while to figure out how to use it all, but once I got the hang of it, it’s been a game-changer.
Look, if you’re on WIC, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the database doesn’t have every single WIC item and the interface can be a bit clunky sometimes. But overall, it does the job and makes shopping with WIC vouchers way less of a hassle. Definitely worth checking out.
